Information entered on this website
The current version is a static storefront with no website checkout backend. When you use the cart, it stores selected product IDs and quantities and a small product-catalog cache in your browser's namespaced local storage. Delivery form values are not saved by this website. Checkout and contact forms prepare a message that opens WhatsApp with the details you entered. The website itself does not automatically transmit that message to Cosmocutu; you review and send it in WhatsApp.
Information included in WhatsApp messages
If you choose to send the prepared message, it may include your name, mobile number, delivery address, city, state, PIN code, selected products, quantities, order subtotal and any note you provided. Only enter information necessary for your order. Avoid adding passwords, banking PINs, government identity numbers or other unnecessary sensitive data.
Third-party services
WhatsApp is operated by Meta and is subject to its own privacy terms and settings. Opening WhatsApp may send information to that service. When the live catalog is configured, the browser requests public product information from the configured Supabase project; those requests may expose ordinary connection metadata such as your IP address to that provider, but the storefront does not send checkout form values with catalog requests. Google Fonts and cdnjs provide fonts and animation scripts to pages that use them; those services may receive ordinary connection metadata such as your IP address. External links, including social media and messaging links, are controlled by their respective providers.
Cookies and analytics
Optional first-party storefront analytics is disabled by default and only sends events after you opt in through the on-page consent choice. If enabled and accepted, it records page visits, product interactions, and WhatsApp checkout starts; it does not collect checkout form contents or payment details. Your consent choice and a limited event queue are stored in browser local storage. Browser local storage is used for the shopping bag, a small product-catalog cache, a private referral-link access key, and a random browser identifier for counting unique referral visits; session storage temporarily keeps a referral code opened from a shared link. No advertising cookies are intentionally used. If analytics, pixels, payment services or other integrations are added later, this policy should be updated and any required consent mechanisms added before launch.
Referral information
If you create a referral link, a private random access key is stored in your browser and only its SHA-256 hash is stored by Cosmocutu. When someone opens a referral link, its code and a random browser identifier are sent to the Supabase project so unique browser visits can be counted once per link. The identifier is not used to identify you personally. When a referred visitor continues to WhatsApp checkout, the referral code and a random claim reference are included in the message and stored as a pending referral claim. The referral database does not receive checkout form values or payment credentials. Payment status and eligible order total are added only after Cosmocutu manually verifies payment; the related reward is then calculated. Clearing browser storage removes access to your referral dashboard from that browser and resets its visitor identifier, but does not delete referral records already stored by Cosmocutu. Retention and deletion
Cart items and the product cache may remain in your browser's local storage until you clear site data or reset the browser. Delivery form values remain in the page only until you leave it and are not retained by this website. Messages you send through WhatsApp are handled according to your account and WhatsApp's policies. Cosmocutu should apply appropriate access controls and retention practices to any order information it receives.
Children
This storefront is intended for general retail customers and is not designed to collect information from children. A parent or guardian should handle purchase communications where appropriate.

Before launch
Have this policy reviewed against your real business operations and applicable legal requirements. If you later add a CRM, analytics, payment processor, mailing list or server-side order database, update this policy to accurately explain those data flows.
